I asked....God answered...

I asked God to clear all my sufferings
He said NO! They are not to be cleared, but for you to overcome

I asked God to give me patient
He said NO! Patient is the result of perseverance during hardships, it cannot be given, it has to be learned / mastered.

I asked God to give me happiness
He said NO! I will give you blessings. Happiness will depend on you.

I asked God to keep me away from trials
He said NO! Trials will keep you away from earthly attractions and bring you closer to ME.

I asked God to grow my spirit
He said NO! You need to grow it yourself, but I will prune it to make you fruitful.

I asked God to give me everything, so I can enjoy life.
He said NO! I will give you life, so you can enjoy everything.

I asked God to help loving others, like He loves me
He said, “Ah, my child, finally you understand”.
